The 51st Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has concluded after nine spectacular days in the skies above New Mexico, and we were present as Hot Air Balloon Manufacturers.
Thousands of visitors gathered to witness the festival’s iconic mass ascensions, as hundreds of balloons lifted off against the backdrop of the Sandia Mountains. The event featured approximately 546 registered balloons and more than 600 pilots representing 16 countries.
One of the standout moments of this edition was its overlap with the annular solar eclipse on October 14. Visitors from around the world traveled to Albuquerque to witness the rare ”Ring of Fire” phenomenon while enjoying the festival atmosphere.
The numbers tell the story of a remarkable year. Organizers reported an estimated 968.516 guests visits, setting a new all-time attendance record and surpassing previous highs.
