The 23rd Coupe d’Europe de Montgolfières took place from 1-4 August 2024 in the picturesque Coteaux-du-Blanzacais/Val des Vignes region of France.

Recognised by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), the event brought together 35 of Europe’s top hot air balloon pilots from 11 countries to compete in a series of precision flying tasks designed to test navigation, strategy and flying skills. A total of 16 competition tasks were successfully completed during the championship.

After four days of highly competitive flying, Dominic Bareford claimed an overall title, ahead of Stephanie Hemmings in 2nd place, both flying Ultramagic Racers. Kenian Dekein completed the podium with a well deserved 3rd position.
