Congratulations from the worldwide Ultramagic team to Ricardo Aracil from Mallorca on coming first and winning the 2009 Spanish National Hot Air Balloon Championship held in Lleida between September 16 and September 20. Ricardo won flying his IBATUR Ultramagic Racer. Congratulations also to the brother of Ricardo, Jordi Aracil also from Mallorca who came second and Ivan Ayala from La Rioja region who came third. There were 17 tasks made in 5 flights in good weather conditions. Experience gained at this year’s competition could prove useful as Lleida has been appointed as the venue for the 2011 European Championship. |
