British National Hot Air Balloon Championship 2011

Congratulations from the worldwide Ultramagic team to David Bareford on coming first and winning the 2011 British National Hot Air Balloon Championship held in Berkeley, Gloucestershire between the 2nd and 7th August 2011.  This is now the 9th time that David has been the UK Champion! We believe that this may now set a new all time record for any national championship winner. David was flying his blue and yellow spiral Ultramagic Racer.

29 tasks were made in this very exiting competition with the close final result only being determined at the very end of the weeks flying.

A special note should also be made of the following who were also flying Ultramagic Racers. This makes 4 Ultramagic Racer pilots in the top 10 places.

4th place Marcus Green, 8th place Rick Vale, 10th place Lindsay Muir.

Congratulations to all for making it a great competition!
