Spanish National Hot Air Balloon Championship 2011
Congratulations from the worldwide ULTRAMAGIC team to Carles Lladó on coming first and winning the 2011 33rd National Hot Air Balloon Championship of Spain held at Haro (La Rioja) between August 12 and August 15.
The podium was also completed by pilots flying Ultramagic balloons: 2nd place for the local pilot Iván Ayala and 3rd position for Blai Carbonell –from Valencia–.The competition, which consisted in 18 tasks along 4 flights, congregated up to 18 teams, which enjoyed of the beautiful landscapes of the wonderful wine-growing region.
The result supposes most of the coefficient to get classified for the next World Championship, held in Battle Creek, Michigan-US.The event was closed with a prize-ceremony and a visit to a local wine-factory, promoter of the meeting.
