25th FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship

The 25th FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship was held from 8-14 September 2024 in Szeged, Hungary, bringing together 118 of the world’s best balloon pilots to compete for the most prestigious title in hot air ballooning. The championship featured a series of precision flying tasks. Despite several weather-related delays at the start of the event, a full competition programme was successfully completed.

After an outstanding week of competition, Clément Seigeot (France) was crowned World Champion. Tomasz Filus secured a silver medal and Joe Heartsill finished third. John Petrehn, from Ultramagic, secured a 4th position. During the competition, we could spot so many other Ultramagic Racers.
