The 40th Campeonato de España de Aerostación was celebrated from August 29th to September 2nd in the village of Haro, in the region of La Rioja. There were 4 days of flights with the scoring between the three first classifieds very tight. Finally, the trophy was for Blai Carbonell, with 14.391 points; just 14 points away, the champion of the last year, Iván Ayala; in the third position the Ultramagic pilot Carles Figueras, with 13.493 points.
The three winners obtained the classification for the European Championship of 2019 that will take place in Mallorca.
